Medal Haul for Shotoshinkai Kedah

Shotoshinkai News: The Shotoshinkai Karate-Do Association of Kedah (S.K.A Kedah) and Kelab Karate-Do Shotoshinkai Kedah (K.K.S.K) continue their medal haul in local tournament by hunting down a total of 5 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze in the recent Kedah Open Karate Tournament (Deepavali Open) in Central Square Sungai Petani on the 15th of October 2011.

S.K.A exponent contribute 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze to the total medal tally while K.K.S.K contributed 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. The list of medalist is as follow:

Nur Aliyah Dzulkiflee – 1 Gold ( Girl Kumite 5-6 yrs old)
Muhammad Syafiq Danish Dzulkiflee – 1 Silver (Boy Kumite 5-6 yrs old)

Nabilah – 1 Gold (Girl Kumite 9-10 yrs old)
Mohd Jafri Mohd Johari – 1 Silver (Boy Kata 11-13 yrs old)
Nur Zhafirah Mohd Johari – 1 Silver (Girl Kata 7-10 yrs old)
Nur Azniza Atiqah Yaacob – 1 Silver, 1 Bronze (Girl Kumite 11-13 yrs old, Girl Kata 11-13 yrs old)
Mohd Zikri Mohd Johari – 1 Bronze (Boy Kata 7 – 10 yrs old)
Muhd Afiq Haikal Nor Asikim – 1 Bronze (Boy Kumite 13-14 yrs old)

The upcoming Karate-Do Tournament will be on the 19th of November (Gojuken Kedah) and the 25th of November (Kedah Open). Coaches from both team had already express their readiness to bring SKA Kedah to achieve another medal haul in the coming tournament.
